Effective steps for cleaning industrial tablets
Industrial tablets are everywhere, in information kiosks, digital signage, medical facilities, manufacturing factories, grocery stores, and more. Therefore, strict cleaning procedures must be implemented and followed to ensure environmental hygiene.
How to prepare industrial tablet computers for disinfection
Unplug the device from the power source.
Do not mix cleaning chemicals (especially bleach with ammonia/acids, which can produce dangerous chlorine gas).
Do not use cleaning chemicals in poorly ventilated areas.

Cleaning techniques
Wiping cloth: Do not use paper towels, facial tissues, or any abrasive fabrics. Although these fabrics may not scratch the touch screen, they may cause minor scratches that accumulate over time and damage the screen. The best choice is ultra-fine fiber cloth.
Cleaning solution: For glass touch screens and aluminum frames, most household disinfectant wipes, bleach solutions, or alcohol based cleaners can be used for disinfection. Some cleaning agents are too irritating to non glass touch screens and plastic frames. The following is a list of commonly recognized cleaning agents suitable for different types of surfaces.
Do not directly spray the computer: Unless the protection level of the device reaches IP64 or higher, cleaning agents should not be sprayed directly onto the device. IP64 is a type of protection level (IP), which means that liquids will not enter the interior of the device. Devices with non IP protection levels may be damaged by direct spraying.
Disinfect industrial tablets: Spray cleaning solution onto a cloth and gently wipe the entire touch screen and casing with force. Pay special attention to the gaps around the screen, as they are prone to bacterial growth.
Complete the steps
Let the industrial tablet air dry naturally, then wash your hands. Discard or clean gloves.
